FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions. Here are some common questions about Weefeen:
What is the Weefeen platform?
The Weefeen platform offers music performers the opportunity to receive expert reviews of their performances from top musicians around the world. It helps performers understand their strengths and areas for improvement through detailed feedback.
Who can use Weefeen?
The platform is designed for music performers of various skill levels, from students preparing for competitions or exams to amateur and professional musicians. However, it is especially beneficial for those who already have some experience and can interpret feedback effectively.
What types of reviews are available on Weefeen?
Weefeen offers two types of reviews: General Reviews, which provide a summary of key areas for improvement, and Detailed Reviews, which offer specific, annotated feedback along the music score.
How does the review process work?
Performers upload a recording of their performance to the Weefeen platform. They can then request a review from a top musician or use the "Match me!" service to be paired with available reviewers.
What is the difference between a General Review and a Detailed Review?
A General Review provides an overview of the performance with general feedback, while a Detailed Review includes specific comments linked to precise moments in the music score, offering a deeper and more specific critique.
Can I choose my own reviewer?
Yes, performers can choose their reviewers from a list of top musicians on the platform or use the "Match me!" service to be paired with an available reviewer.
Is Weefeen available on mobile devices?
Currently, Weefeen is only available on PCs. A mobile version is planned for future development.
How much does it cost to use Weefeen?
The platform itself is free to use, but performers pay for each review they request. The cost varies depending on the type of review and the reviewer’s rates.
How are payments handled on Weefeen?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Performers pay upfront, and the funds are held in an escrow-like system until the review is completed and accepted.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with a review?
If a performer is not satisfied with a review, they can file a complaint. Weefeen will evaluate the situation and decide if a refund or a resolution is necessary.
If my music score is unavailable in the Library, can I request for it to be added?
Yes, you can request for a music score to be added to the Library. If the score is in the public domain and available, the Weefeen admin will add it for you. If the score cannot be found in the public domain, like on IMSLP, you have the option to upload your own private score. In this case, only you can access this score, and it will not be available to other performers or the public on the internet.
